PrimeLinen Hire Terms of Hire and Rental Agreement


This agreement sets out the terms and conditions under which PrimeLinen Hire (hereinafter referred to as "PrimeLinen," "we," or "us") provides linen hire services to customers. By hiring linen from PrimeLinen, the customer agrees to the following terms:

1. Hire Term and Extension Charges

  • Hire Period: The standard hire period for each linen item is 10 days from the delivery date.
  • Extension Charges: After the initial 10-day hire period, a rental fee of £3.50 Excluding VAT per day per bed pack will apply. These charges allow customers continued use of the linens and permit washing and reusing of the items within reasonable care guidelines.
  • Minimum 5 Bed packs can turn hire into rental.


2. Customer Responsibilities

  • Care and Maintenance: The customer agrees to use the linens responsibly, following the care instructions provided to ensure items are not unnecessarily damaged or stained. Customers may wash and reuse the linens during the hire term, but they must be returned in a clean and usable condition.
  • Avoiding Stains and Damage: The customer is expected to take reasonable steps to avoid stains and damages to all hired items. Improper use, such as exposure to harsh chemicals or heat, is discouraged.


3. Security Deposit and Deductions

  • Deposit Requirement: A security deposit is required at the time of hire. This deposit serves as a guarantee for the return of the items in acceptable condition.
  • Deductions for Damage or Stains: If any linens are returned with stains, damages, or in an unusable condition, the cost of repair, cleaning, or replacement will be deducted from the deposit. PrimeLinen reserves the right to retain the full deposit if damages are extensive. In cases where repair costs exceed the deposit, the customer agrees to pay any outstanding balance required for repair or replacement.


4. Return of Items and Collection

  • Return of Linens: Customers are responsible for making the hired linens available for return or collection by the end of the agreed hire period (10 days) unless an extension is requested.
  • Late Returns: If linens are not returned or made available for collection on time, the daily extension charge of £3.50 per item will automatically apply.


5. Payment Terms

  • Full Payment Requirement: The customer agrees to make full payment, including the deposit, prior to or upon delivery of the items.
  • Additional Charges: Any additional charges, such as extended rental fees or damages exceeding the deposit, will be billed separately and are due upon receipt of the invoice.


6. Limitation of Liability

PrimeLinen is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from the use of our products beyond ordinary wear and tear.


7. Termination of Agreement

PrimeLinen reserves the right to terminate this agreement at any time if the customer fails to comply with these terms or is found to misuse the rented items.


8. Amendments
